Timothey N’Guessan to play for three seasons at FC Barcelona
FC Barcelona and French club Chambéry have reached an agreement for the transfer of 23-year-old left-back Timothey N'Guessan to the Catalan club for three years from the start of the 2016/17 season. Timothey N'Guessan was born in Massy (France) on 18 September 1992.

Barça's superiority in the last ten minutes give them their sixteenth win in regular competition and a great start to the second half of the season.

FC Barcelona Lassa won their eleventh Copa Asobal title against Naturhouse, their fifth consecutive cup success which equals the record streak set by Ciudad Real between 2003 and 2008. Naturhouse started the game far brighter, with the trio of Malmagro, Molina and Fernández setting the tone for their early dominance. Despite Xavi Pascual calling a timeout to try to weather the early storm, Naturhouse led 10:15 after 21 minutes.

Barça Lassa have beaten Frigoríficos Morrazo 34:21 in the semi-finals of the Copa Asobal as they chase to win the title for the fifth year in a row and the eleventh in total. The Catalans dominated from start to finish, with the added bonus of Sarmiento returning from injury. It was already 5:1 after just four minutes. Jallouz was outstanding, the scoring seven in a first half that ended with Barça comfortably leading 19:10.

FC Barcelona Lassa are through to the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey after beating Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto 43:25 away from home. Xavi Pascual's side burst out of the traps early on and never let their opponents in with a chance at any stage of the match. Within the first 16 minutes, Barça took a 16:5 advantage, with the team demonstrating ruthless finishing in front of goal.

FC Barcelona have bounced back following the recent defeat against Kielce in Europe with an important away win in the league against Naturhouse La Rioja, the team in second place in the Asobal League. Xavi Pascual's side were made to work hard, especially in the first half, but the 75th victory in a row for the team was never seriously in doubt and Barça will now top the table at the half-way point in the season.

FC Barcelona Lassa fell by a score of 33:31 to Kielce on match day nine of the EHF. Despite the loss, Barça continue to lead Group B pending the outcome of the Rhein-Neckar Lowen v Szeged match. The defeat was Barça's first at home in European competition since 18 February 2012 when they fell 30:29 to Zagreb.
